Sep. 25, 2017 - Mr. Chetan SHAH, President of ASHAPURA, visited Guinea on September 8-13, 2017. Shah discussed the cooperation model with SOGUIPAMI concern mining bauxite project in Boffa area.
On Sep. 13, the two sides reached a cooperation intention and signed a cooperation framework agreement. The partnership was signed in the presence of the Guinean Minister of Mines and Geology.
This partnership will focus in particular on strengthening the capacities of young Guineans in the extraction and sale of mines in international markets.
"We will begin to train, exchange experiences so that we can enhance our mining heritage," promised Mamadi Fofana.
For its part, the Executive Director of ASHAPURA, assured that in this partnership a focus will be placed on the valorization of local content.
"We want to implement a model in Guinea that will help ensure that Guineans can benefit from the benefits of the great mining potential that God has given to the country," said Chetan Shak.
